Most unusual startup in the EPIS portfolio at the moment? Probably Euan Lind who is developing a range of modern, design rich, functional furniture within the ECA.

What’s the next big challenge that EPIS has to overcome? Being too small to survive in the public funding maze
In one sentence, what’s the personal dream? To achieve a polo handicap of 3 and play international competitions.
In one sentence, what’s the professional dream? To make it possible for someone to have an EPIS place in every Scottish University so as a nation we are the no 1 destination for start up entrepreneurs.
What do you do for stress relief? Exercise and garden
Your favourite ‘skint’ meal? Two boiled eggs with soldiers
How do you celebrate milestones or awards? Buy a new car
What’s your biggest guilty pleasure? Buying jewels for the girls in the family
And the coolest event (business / tech related) you’ve been to? A cocktail party in 2001 in San Francisco hosted by Paul Allen, co-founder of Microsoft for Michael Jordan and the NBA Allstars.
Name a quirky fact about yourself: I worked in the emergency services for 10 years before I trained in finance.
