Hi

I'm pleased to see that you mention that Trevor Cattle is a Chartered IT Professional. Your readers might want to read my colleague's post on what being a <a href="http://blogs.rrs.co.uk/rrs/2008/05/18/Chartered+IT+Professional+CITP.aspx" rel="nofollow">Chartered IT Professional (CITP)</a> is all about.

I'm hoping that Trevor will encourage whoever he recruits to follow in his footsteps to become a chartered professional. The web design industry sorely needs them!

If you are looking for quality internet marking people with great skills in all areas, I would look into the Philippines, Great people with a good work ethic at a bargain price, and they speak English. They do excellent work, that’s what I use, and I save thousands.

Good lad, I would be a suitable candidate myself if it were not for C# as my background is PHP.

I would say that knowing a brief use of C at college, it may not simply be the case to educate on the job as C compiler can get seriously complicated, very quickly... much like Java in my opinion.

And if I remember C# is the object oriented aspect of C compiler, so you are not developing to a procedural environment, but to an object oriented environment, adding that edge more complexity, particularly if the would be candidate has little experience with OO methodologies.

But at least the project lead is willing to give some ground and that may just be enough to get this project off the ground.
