TIPS ON INITIAL INVESTOR ENGAGEMENT – 28th FEBRUARY 2011, 9:30am-1:30pm

Are you the Founder/MD/CEO of an early stage technology company planning to raise equity finance in the foreseeable future? If so, this seminar will provide you with valuable tips and guidance on crucial aspects of initial investor engagement:

• Identification of an investor offering ‘smart’ money.
• Is a deal broker / corporate finance adviser worth the fee?
• Perfecting the pitch – poor presentation can kill a good proposition.

Speakers will include Tommy Cook, CEO of Calnex Solutions a global leader in test solutions for next-generation telecom networks and Maryanne Johnston, who has coached the leaders of many Scottish companies and organisations in presentation skills.

Registration: This event is targeted at the founders, MDs and CEOs of technology companies planning to raise equity finance. As part of the support to the companies based in the Centre and the wider technology community a series of three investment related seminars is being organised.
