Good news.
I’m considering coming back to Edinburgh to start an enterprise web company (my second), and I’m pleased to see it warming up with more and more events geared towards entrepreneurs.
Oooh yes, you’ll have (free) events aplenty!
Which of course helps cut down on the food and drink bills 🙂
Where is it you’ve run off to in the meantime?
I left Edinburgh in 2004 – right now I divide my time between Oxford and California. It seems like there’s a huge amount of talent in Scotland that hasn’t been taken advantage of.
Yes agreed, could probably use a bit more self-belief… and perhaps the cheesy American ‘can do’ attitude wouldn’t hurt.
Hope California is treating you well in the meantime! And if you make it to Sacramento at all, I can offer some home town recommendations 🙂
