Tuesday 20th July: Launch Lab, 9am at Renroc (89-91 Montgomery St)
The Launch Lab is a weekly session geared toward anyone who owns or is starting their own business. A highly varied group of energetic, intelligent people gather to exchange ideas, share critiques and encouragement, and feed each others’ vitality. At the beginning of most sessions there is a presentation on any aspect of entrepeneurship; thereafter we discuss the talk then get down to the business of networking, gossiping, and drinking coffee.
Tuesday 20th July: .CO Domain Names Go on Sale!
Think .co is going to make it big? FYI if you want to register your startup’s domain name on .co, or if you want to try for some cool .co web addresses, today’s the first day you can buy them for normal prices. So far I’ve seen £18.99/year on Fasthosts, but holler if you find a better deal!
Wednesday 20th July: OpenCoffee Club, 10am at Appleton Tower 8th Floor
This is the Edinburgh branch of the OpenCoffee Club which is an informal setting where entrepreneurs, developers and investors can drop in and network. Tea and biscuits aplenty!
Friday 23rd July: Edinburgh Coffee Morning, 8am at Centotre (George Street)
Lovely bunch of digital media, social media, and just generally fun folks chatting away and making new friends. The best way to start your Friday, and well worth the early arrival (you can trickle in 8-9am if that helps). It’s hard to get out of bed, but whenever I manage I’m always so happy I went!

Just a wee question: The TechMeetup website says the Glasgow event is on Wednesday 28th. Could anyone confirm this please?
Hi Peter,
Yes, Glasgow techmeetup is on next week rather than this week. Sorry for the confusion!
Apparently I had a bug in my paper planner, sorry for the TechMeetup false alarm folks. Somewhere along the line, I must not have synched properly… But look out for the real deal next Weds!
P.S. Thanks so much for flagging it up! Likewise, please feel free to add on anything else you think deserves a mention 🙂
