What are you doing this Friday? You could attend a free film-making workshop in Edinburgh. Here’s a link to the agenda – it’ll take you to an eventbrite page where you can also register to attend the workshop.
When: Friday, September 03, 2010 from 10:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Where: Mercure Edinburgh Point Hotel, 34 Bread Street, EH3 9AF, Edinburgh
The workshop is hosted by Crossover: “an international programme designed to explore the creative and the commercial challenges of developing content and services for digital media”.
Why am I telling you about this? Mainly because it’s free. And you might learn something. Then you could share your wisdom with the rest of the StartupCafe community. How cool would that be? Pretty cool, right? I’d go if I were in Edinburgh. Instead I’ll be in London, having a pretty intense massage. No, really. So will Jess and Kate. They share the same birthday. I, like, had to hook them up with something cool. FREE deep tissue massage seemed to be the thing. Equally awesome. But I’d totally choose the film making if I were up there.
So you could go for us….then SHARE your incredible new knowledge. I’d go just to meet some brand new human beings.
The free workshop is being offered to encourage people to enter a short film competition launched by the chartered institute for IT (BCS) to find out how information and technology impacts people. The top amateur prize is £10K. True story.
