After intensive debate and a rigorous selection process, we are very excited to announce the winners of our first two competitions held last month.
Winning answer for Competition #1 (What is the most ridiculous Twitter message you’ve seen?)
Award goes to Rachel Willmer, who shared an impressive bum Tweeting tale:
The most ridiculous Twitter I’ve ever seen… was one I sent. Or at least, my bum did… I had the iPhone in my back pocket when out jogging, must have had it on the Twitter page, and when I got back, I discovered I’d sent this…

Now that’s a ridiculously smart-ass tweet!
Winning answer for Competition #2 (How can StartupCafe be most useful to you?)
Award goes to Steve Williamson (all the way from Sacramento, California), who suggested we branch out and offer StartupCafe sites to different cities around the world. We’ve now purchased http://www.StartupCafe.biz and will be experimenting with world domination in the coming months. You can claim your prize upon another Edinburgh visit, or for more instant gratification the blogging crew will happily oblige to a California retreat.
Bonus award goes to Hilary Singer for being our most actively involved and helpful reader. Hilary, we love you.
We look forward to indulging our winners with a chance-of-a-lifetime StartupCafe pancake feast, and huge thanks to everyone who entertained us with responses. We really appreciate the submissions and apologise that we’re unable to feed you all right now, but we’ll have a new competition up shortly – stay tuned.
Its truly difficult as a little company contending online, particularly along with the
drop in self-confidence seen amongst consumers its like a steady uphill struggle!

I am curious to find out what blog platform you happen to be using?
I’m having some minor security issues with my latest website and I would like
to find something more secure. Do you have any solutions?
