Described as the Gandalf of game design, Chris Crawford has been designing games since the original Atari VCS – and created of my personal favourite ‘Balance of Power’ on the Atari ST. He founded of the GDC (Game Developers Conference) from his living room in 1987, and has authored 3 best selling books on game design and storytelling.
On Thursday 29th April 2010 Chris brings his personality and flare to Glasgow Caledonian University to trace the development of play through the course of biological history, coming to some startling conclusions regarding the techniques we use to educate children.
