Kwwika. It’s the real-time web. Delivered.
Give us your company culture in 3 words:
Flexible, honest, exciting
Whats the next big challenge or hurdle that the company has to overcome?
We need to get more developers and companies on board using our real-time web service and set of APIs.
In one sentence, what’s the personal dream?
Professionally: I’d like to help build, and be part of, a clever, innovative and fun development team working on really cool projects – nearly there. Personally: I’m just married so am hoping to start a family and find a nice family home.
What do you do for stress relief?
Not very much at the moment. I used to run quite a bit. I need to get out and run more.
Your favourite ‘skint’ meal?
Peanut butter and jam sarnies.
How to you celebrate milestones or awards?
It’s nice to get away somewhere… with a decent Internet connection. Or just give myself a few days off.
What’s your biggest guilty pleasure?
A bit early I suppose, but I’m really looking forward to the South African World Cup from June 10.
And the coolest event you’ve been to?
I’m not all that well travelled and don’t go to all that many events. So, the biggest and coolest I’ve ever been to was Microsoft TechEd 2005.
Name a Quirky fact about yourself:
I threw together the http://www.bringbackbeckham.com website in a few days a few years ago and got national radio and newspaper coverage as well as over 30,000 unique hits over one weekend.
