Monday 23rd May, Lean Startup Lessons Learnt
Startup Lessons Learned 2011 is the sequel to last year’s inaugural event, which brought together nearly 400 entrepreneurs and executives interested in building and supporting lean startups. The goal for this event is to give practitioners and students of the lean startup methodology the opportunity to hear insights from leaders in embracing and deploying the core principles of the lean startup methodology. The day-long event will feature a mix of panels and talks focused on the key challenges and issues that technical and market-facing people at startups need to understand in order to succeed in building successful lean startups.

Wednesday, 25th May, 6pm, Edinburgh PHP User’s Group
Welcome to the Edinburgh PHP Users Group (EdPUG). This group is for people in and around Edinburgh and the Lothians, who are interested in PHP and open source web development solutions specifically, and information systems generally.
Thursday, 26th May, 7pm, Voodoo Rooms, Refresh Edinburgh talks (tickets sold out)
Rufus Spiller of Line Digital and Roan Lavery of FreeAgent will give talks at The Voodoo Rooms on 26th May 2011.
Talks will start at 19:30 sharp, room (and bar, obviously) open from 19:00. We have the room until 1am, so expect much post-talks discussion and gin-related debauchery.

Friday, 27th May, Edinburgh Coffee Morning, 8am, Centotre
The ECM is a weekly gathering of East Coast producers, marketeers, writers, filmmakers, geeks and the occassional PR person at Centotre, 103 George Street. Come along any Friday, 8am-9am, to see what people have been up to that week, share ideas and make new contacts.
Friday, 27th May, 6.30pm, StartupCafe 2nd Birthday Party!
We’re throwing a party for our 2nd birthday.It’s our way of saying thank you to the whole startup community!
