hoodeasy taking over the hoodie worldhoodeasy is everywhere. Whether I’m reaching for my comfy E-Club hoodie or reading up on Business Forum events, the enjoyable brand is brought back to mind (I promise, now that you’re aware, you’ll see it all over the place too). For those of you not yet familiar with Richard Burton’s creation, hoodeasy is an Edinburgh startup that takes the hassle out of groups ordering customised clothing. You’ll likely recognise Richard since he’s active in local groups and events, though his haircut earlier this year still throws me.

As the company is doing remarkably well and pursuing further growth, hoodeasy is now recruiting university reps to help spread the word and make life easier for societies across the UK. Excited by the new opportunities, we checked in with Richard to understand how hoodeasy got to be so cool and who he’s looking for at the moment.

The candidate will be involved in the engineering of the company’s product and the design of its user interface. Therefore, desirable qualities include a interest in usability design, hands-on experience with C++/C#, and preferably some experience with Winforms or WPF. Most importantly, the candidate will demonstrate a desire and willingness to learn new skillsets as required.
