The International Entrepreneurship Educators Conference is next week, 2-4 Sept. at Heriot-Watt. Hilary Singer, Launch.ed intern and StartupCafe BFF, shares the details with us here:
The Scottish Institute for Enterprise is helping to organise the event. They’re looking for volunteers to help staff the conference. Volunteers would get free food and drink throughout the day, and would get to hear some cool speakers/go to cool workshops.
Some of the sessions include “Ethical Dilemmas for the Entrepreneur” and “Four Ways to Find Enterprising Ideas”. You can see the full schedule here. This is a way to get into the event for free (though there will be some work involved!).
We’re specifically looking for anyone who is available at the following times (though I’m sure volunteers could stick around longer if they wanted to see a particular speaker):
9am – 2pm on Wed. Sept. 2*
9am – 11:30 am on Fri. Sept. 4**
All interested parties should email Anthony Ives of SIE at a.ives@sie.ac.uk.
*Kate and Jess’s birthdays!
**StartupCafe party that night at Vodka Rev, join us!
