After CereProc’s impressive publicity drive last week, it turns out there’s no shortage of Edinburgh startups getting into the press.
Hypernumbers, led by Gordon Guthrie, was recently featured on Blood on the Snow, a BBC World Service programme (incidentally, if anyone knows why there is such a disturbing title to the show, do let me know). In the show, Gordon talks about the three startups he’s been involved in, and about his latest startup Hypernumbers.
Hypernumbers was one of the first winners of Seedcamp back in 2007. They’ve been working away ever since then on an architecture which allows you to build your own web app without any programming skills. You can try out their beta at the moment over at http://tiny.hn/.

Um, the Beeb subs wrote that line from a comment I made in the second audio diary where I described ‘our financial statement as bleeding red like a wounded man in the snow’ and the anxiety you feel about not selliing/selling/trying to sell…
Later episodes are a bit more upbeat!
