Edinburgh Twestival is taking place on 25 March 2010 at Ghillie Dhu, Edinburgh and is part of Twestival Global. This year, we’ll be bringing Edinburgh Tweeters together, and teaming up with cities around the globe, to raise money for the international humanitarian charity Concern Worldwide. The event kicks off at 7.30 pm and will feature a brilliant line-up of bands, DJs, and other fun stuff. Tickets are a steal at £8, and EVERY PENNY will go to charity. You can keep up with the latest EdTwestival news on their blog and, of course, via Twitter (@edtwestival).

Friday, 26th March: Edinburgh Coffee Morning, 8am at Centotre (George Street)
Lovely bunch of digital media, social media, and just generally fun folks chatting away and making new friends. The best way to start your Friday, if you can manage the arrival. On a good day, I generally make it for 9am and stick with the hard-core coffee junkies.
Sunday, 28th March: Naked Ceilidh, 10am at Ghillie Dhu pub
Sometimes I find that doing things that terrify me in my social life actually make me a stronger businesswoman… so, here’s a suggestion if you’re up for something new: The world’s first naked ceilidh is to take place in Edinburgh this weekend, and organisers are now looking for people over the age of 18 “of every shape and size” to bare all at the event. Dances suggested include strip the willow and the “flashing” white sergeant (gotta love a good pun). Anyone interested in taking part in the naked ceilidh and photo-shoot, which will take place at 10am on 28 March, should contact 0141 270 4141 or email isla@g1group.com
P.S. I’m away at a wedding in Cardiff, oh darn…
